Techport Thirteen is proud to be a tournament sponsor of the Robin Kaplan Memorial
Golf Tournament benefiting the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America in 2010.
This year, Techport served as a Refreshment Sponsor for the tournament to aid in the event's efforts to raise funds to help
children afflicted with Crohn's or colitis (IBD) disease.

Rob Swingle (L) and Manish Patel (R) helped
represent Techport at the 2010 RKMGT
The Robin Kaplan Memorial Golf Tournament began in 2004 to honor Robin who was tragically lost in the September 11th
attacks. Unfortunately, Robin dealt with the affects of Crohn's Disease for most of her life, but she handled it with
strength and grace. After facing her biggest medical challenge in January of 2001, she was determined to recover from a
serious operation and learn everything she could to overcome this disease. In an effort to keep Robin's memory alive, this
event has raised over $700,000 to benefit charities, such as the
Crohn's and Colitis Camp Oasis, which were near and dear to Robin's heart.
In what turned out to be a beautiful, July, Connecticut day, four golfers representing Techport, teed off in the event's "bramble"
after attending an awareness dinner and silent auction the previous evening. 2010 marks the 3rd year that Techport has been an
official tournament sponsor, while having only participated in the event in previous years.
Pictures of Techport's attendance at the event have been posted to
Techport's Facebook profile.

...that the name of the integrations on the services menu in xMatters’ Mobile Gateway can be changed in 14 simple steps?
Out of the box, the Service Manager integrations are cryptically labeled hpsmim and hpsmcm which can confuse users,
especially on the small mobile screen.
Part A: AlarmPoint
- Login to AlarmPoint as the root user (or a user with the Developer role)
- Click Developer tab > Event Domains link
- Click on the hp_sm_incident (or hp_sm_change) event domain
- Click the hpsmim (or hpsmcm) link under Integration Services
- Rename the Service and keep a note for Part B; Also keep in mind that the Integration Agent can only accept letters,
numbers and the dash/minus within the name of the integration (for example: SM-Incident)
- Click Save
Part B: Integration Agent
- Open the Integration Agent Home directory\integrationservices\hpsmim (or hpsmcm); Open the hpsmim.xml file
- Edit the following tag to reflect what was entered in step 5 in Part A above:
<name>hpsmim</name>
to
<name>SM-Incident</name>
- Save the file
- Restart the Integration Agent
Part C: Mobile Gateway
- Navigate to this directory buried in the mobile gateway web app folder:
<AlarmPoint Home> \webserver\webapps\mobilegateway\jsp\hpsmim\includes
- Open the sendRequest.jsp file in a text editor
- Alter this line to reflect the new name noted in step 5 in Part A above:
esr.setService("hpsmim");
to
esr.setService("SM-Incident");
- Save; Restart the AlarmPoint web server
Now, Mobile Gateway users will be greeted with a more user friendly service name. Enjoy!
